I suppose you need those for your webbed feet in the area after all the rain? Seriously I hope things are looking better for all those poor people who were flooded out of their homes?
These are so fab it sent me looking for more nfo which I reventually found. the designer? 'It was me! I am the designer of these high heeled flippers! I made them for my catwalk show for Mercedes Australian Fashion week 2002 at Bondi Iceberbs. This model opened the show and played the part of Ursula Andres walking (with not alot of grace) from sea. What a laugh! The “Me” behind this charming note is the Australian designer Lisa Carney.
A record of my journey towards
"An elegant sufficiency, content,
retirement, rural quiet, friendship, books,
ease and alternate labour, useful life"
Not there yet. Some way to go!
I knit, I sew, I embroider, I paint and draw and occasionally keep a journal. I do funny things with paper, paint and glue, I make books and other stuff. Not much of this is of any use (with the possible exception of the socks I knit) but I find fun in everything I do. I love colour, texture, pattern and want to do it all perfectly - preferably in the next five minutes.
When I'm not making stuff myself, I'm teaching someone else how to do it (or teaching someone else to teach someone else to do it)

They are brilliant... were they made for Dr Foster of nursery rhyme fame? Well done Sally for tracking down the true designer.
Best wishes
